G-RAF 2022: 16th, 17th & 18th June at The Briggait

Welcome to the home page of the Glasgow Real Ale Festival (G-RAF) run by the Glasgow and West of Scotland branch of CAMRA. The festival is usually held annually at The Briggait, near the River Clyde to the south of the city’s Merchant City area.

At the last G-RAF, held in 2019, we offered something for everyone with over a hundred and fifty real ales, ciders, and foreign beers available. In addition to the beers and ciders, meads from the Rookery, gins from Eden Mill and a small selection of wines were made available. The 2020 festival was planned to take place on the 18th to 20th June but unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, the National Executive of CAMRA announced on the 17th March 2020 that all CAMRA festivals due to take place before the end of June that year were cancelled, which included G-RAF 2020.

We were also unable to hold the festival in 2021 but we are pleased to say that planning for G-RAF 2022 is well underway. The dates for the festival are Thursday, 16th to Saturday, 18th June and it will be held, once again, at The Briggait. The plans for the festival include two real ale bars, a KeyKeg, foreign and cider bar, a gin bar, a mead bar and a selection of wines. Advance tickets for the festival, priced at £20.00, are now available for purchase from our TCKTY site. The cost includes entry (£5.00 for CAMRA members on production of a valid membership card and £7.00 otherwise) and the balance in drinks tokens. Entry includes a souvenir glass and a festival programme. If you are attending the festival more than once, subsequent enty will cost £2.00 on production of a festival glass.
